Saunterings is a set of reflections based upon walks around the counties of
Cumbria, Lancashire and
North Yorkshire in North-West England (as defined in the
Preamble).
Below is a list of structures (that is, bridges, castles, churchs, halls, viaducts, and so on)
in the region that a walker might find it interesting to visit.
(Structures that are over a 1000 years old - which are basically just ruins
now - are included in the Places list.) I've
squashed the list to the left so that
it's readable on mobile phones.
The right-hand column indicates a walk to the structure,
the number being a link to a Sauntering visit and a + indicating a
pre-Sauntering visit.
